The Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center will soon get heating and cooling upgrades. The Knox Board of Works will meet in special session this morning to award a bid for a new HVAC system.
It’s part of a larger renovation project that will also include a new roof. Last month, the board of works chose Master Steel Roofing to do that work for a cost of just under $66,000. To pay for the project, the city plans to issue $270,000 in bonds.
This morning’s Knox Board of Works meeting starts at 9:30 at City Hall.
