The North Judson-San Pierre School Board welcomed two new members and elected a new president Tuesday. Jackson Township Representative Gerald Bacon and Railroad Township Representative Susan McCormack were both sworn in, according to Superintendent Annette Zupin.
She adds that Sheila Akers was elected board president. Akers replaces longtime president Pat Goin, who did not seek reappointment as the board’s Railroad Township representative. Taking the position of vice-president is Derrick Stalbaum, while Jim Menis was elected board secretary.
Zupin says no changes were made to the positions that were up for their yearly appointments. The North Judson-San Pierre School Board will continue to hold its regular meetings the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the corporation’s Central Office.
