The Oregon-Davis School Board has decided to employ School Resource Officer John Kohles full-time.
As part of that arrangement, a memorandum of understanding with the Town of Hamlet was also approved during Monday’s school board meeting, according to Superintendent Don Harman. “We have a great partnership with the city of Hamlet that we’re very excited and very appreciative of,” Harman says. “And so Mr. John Kohles – we’re very excited he will be here full-time as our school resource officer.”
Kohles first joined the corporation on a part-time basis in January of 2016.
