The 31st Annual Mill Pond Festival is coming up later this month in Union Mills. The event gets underway Friday, August 25 at 6:00 p.m. with a golf cart rally. Festivities continue Saturday, August 26 with the Mill Pond Festival Parade at 10:00 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 10:30. A fireworks display will take place Saturday night at 8:30.
Other highlights include a skeet shoot, BB gun shoot, 5K walk/run, volleyball tournament, and golf shootout. Music, food, and entertainment will be featured throughout the event, along with kids games, canoe and paddle boat rides, and craft vendors
The Mill Pond Festival runs through Sunday, August 27 at 4:30 p.m. It serves as a fundraiser for the Union Mills Conservation Club, to help maintain and improve the Mill Pond and the surrounding park. For more information and a complete schedule, visit MillPondFestival.org.
