Oregon-Davis students had the chance to learn how police dogs keep residents safe.
Last week, K-9 units from the Knox Police Department and Starke County Sheriff’s Office put on a demonstration for O-D students, according to Dean of Students Greg Estok. He says Knox Police Officer Chad Dulin and Starke County Detective Rob Olejniczak explained how the K-9s are used by police.
Additionally, students learned about the dangers of bullying from School Resource Officer John Kohles.
