A one-pot meth lab was reportedly found at a home near Monterey, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say they got a tip Wednesday that people were manufacturing methamphetamine at a home in the 7900 block of North Lake Street.
When they got there, the homeowner reportedly agreed to let officers search the house. Deputies say they found an active one-pot meth lab, items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Herman Maxon, 65, of Monterey, and Amy Shelton, 33, of Knox, were arrested. Officers say they were booked into the Pulaski County Jail on charges related to the dealing and manufacturing of methamphetamine. The Sheriff’s Office expects to make more arrests as the investigation continues.
The Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Suppression Section was called in to assist with the investigation and to help dispose of the hazardous materials used to make methamphetamine.
