Tippecanoe and Bicycles Too Takes Place Tomorrow

 

Cycling enthusiasts have a chance to go for a ride tomorrow with the Friends of the Panhandle Pathway. The 2017 Tippecanoe and Bicycles Too starts at 7:00 a.m. EDT at the Winamac Train Depot.

Participants can choose various ride lengths, ranging from 12 miles up to 62 miles. Those taking the full route will ride the entire Panhandle Pathway and then return on various county roads, crossing the Tippecanoe River six times in the process.

Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Winamac Train Depot. The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for kids age eight to 15. Children age seven and under, and seniors 80 and over may ride free. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Panhandle Pathway.
