Hamlet residents had the chance to weigh in on the town’s 2018 budget Wednesday. No major concerns were raised during the annual budget hearing, according to Clerk-Treasurer Kristina Pitts.
The proposal calls for a total budget of just over $468,000, with a General Fund of more than $321,000 and a Motor Vehicle Highway Fund of just under $60,000. The Hamlet Town Council will consider adopting the 2018 budget during its next meeting on Wednesday, October 11.
