Winamac’s 2018 budget will be up for consideration during tonight’s town council meeting. It calls for a General Fund of over $1 million and a Park Fund of over $137,000, with a total budget of just under $1.6 million. One challenge the town has to deal with was an unanticipated drop in county income tax revenues.
In addition to the adoption of the 2018 budget, the Winamac Town Council is scheduled to get its regular reports from each of the town’s department heads. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. EDT at the Winamac Municipal Utilities Complex.
