Medaryville Halloween Costume Judging Prompts Road Closure Tuesday Evening

Medaryville’s Halloween celebrations will lead to the closure of a downtown street Tuesday evening. After trick-or-treating wraps up at 7:00, the Medaryville Fire Department will have its annual costume judging for local children.

During the event, National Street will be closed from Main Street to the alley behind the fire station, according to Deputy Clerk Jackie Hines. “They like to keep it safe and not have people drive through there while these kids are in the middle of the street,” she explains.

The Medaryville Town Council approved the street closure during a special session Wednesday.
