College students looking for an internship have a chance to work with state lawmakers during their 2018 session. Indiana House Republicans are accepting internship applications through Tuesday.
According to State Representative Jim Pressel’s office, interns will work full-time at the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis from January to mid-March. Internships are available in a variety of areas, including communications, video production, policy, and technology.
In addition to the chance to earn academic credit through their college or university, Indiana House Republican interns also get paid $750 every other week. The internships are open to college sophomores, juniors, and seniors, as well as graduate students, law students, and recent graduates of all majors.
Pressel notes that many of the interns go on to full-time positions in the House of Representatives or other government agencies. For more information or to apply, visit the Indiana House Republicans website.
