The Pulaski County Commissioners will continue discussing whether to contract out lawn mowing and snow removal at some county properties.
After Maintenance Supervisor Jeff Johnston asked for money for a new mower, county officials wanted to see if it would be cheaper for an outside company to do the work. Last month, Johnston gave the commissioners an estimate of how much it currently costs the county to do the work in-house, while the commissioners authorized Johnston to solicit bids from outside contractors.
During this morning’s meeting, the commissioners will also get their regular reports from various county department heads. The Pulaski County Commissioners will meet this morning at 8:00 EDT at the Pulaski County Courthouse.
