The Town of Hamlet is getting into the Christmas spirit. The lighting of the town’s Christmas tree will take place Friday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m., according to Clerk-Treasurer Kristina Pitts.
She says planning is also underway for Hamlet’s annual home decorating contest, but an exact date has not yet been scheduled, as of last week’s park board meeting.
