The Town of Medaryville has some leftover money, as 2017 comes to an end. Clerk-Treasurer Judy Harwood says the town council transferred $43,000 in unused money into its Rainy Day Fund last week.
By doing that, Harwood says that money will now be available for future rounds of matching grants for road paving projects. Meanwhile, invoices from previous pavement restoration work were tabled by the town council last week, until council members can get more information about the charges.
