Pulaski County has officially handed over a few military vehicles for use in regional disaster response efforts.
Pulaski County Emergency Management Agency Director Sheri Gaillard reminded the county commissioners last week that the transfer was already approved. She just needed them and Sheriff Jeff Richwine to sign over the titles. “These vehicles were turned over to the District Task Force Service and Support for deployment in disasters,” she explained. “They are in Fulton County right now. . . . Larry Hoover is the Service and Support boss for the District Task Force. So that’s where they’re at right now, and he’ll be in charge of maintenance and upkeep on those vehicles now.”
However, there was one title that Gaillard had not yet been able to find, as of last week’s meeting.
