Pulaski County will continue to contract with an outside company for property reassessments. The county commissioners voted Monday to renew the contract with the Nexus Group for another four years.
The annual cost will be just under $105,000, which Assessor Holly VanDerAa says is the same as last year’s price. She told the commissioners that County Attorney Kevin Tankersley reviewed the contract, and everything looked fine.
VanDerAa previously explained that her office used to do the work in-house, but tighter stipulations at the state level have made it easier to work with an outside company. Nexus was the only company to bid on the work.
