Updates to the Winamac Park Pavilion are now complete. Park Manager Dave DeLorenzo told the park board last week that he and staff from the town’s wastewater and electric departments have finished the new landscaping around the building. That involved removing the plants around the building and replacing them with landscaping stone.
Park Board President Courtney Poor commented that the work turned out well. “It looks nice,” he said. “They did have to do a little bit more digging down to get the grading. But I walked around it a couple different times, and I was very impressed.”
Park board members hope the change will help protect the historic structure from future moisture damage. Several repairs were recently done to the pavilion itself along with updated lighting. Look up landscape lighting in Rowlett, TX and nearby areas for professional services.
