Starke Hospital is restricting visitors, to try to slow the spread of the flu. Under the temporary restrictions, only two visitors will be allowed with a patient at a time. No visitors under 18 will be permitted.
People with flu-like symptoms, like fever, chills, cough, and muscle aches are also asked not to visit hospital patients. Starke Hospital officials say the flu can be especially dangerous for babies, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems.
