If you’re looking for a sweet way to spend the weekend, you won’t want to miss the student production of Willy Wonka Jr. being shown in Wanatah this Friday and Saturday.
Tri-Township Consolidated School Corporation’s Drama Club representative Tim Grieger stated that approximately 25 La Crosse and Wanatah students from the elementary, middle and high school levels have been working since January rehearsing and preparing for this weekend’s show.
The show premiers tonight at 7 p.m. CT and will be shown again on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Doors will open 30 minutes before each show and the tickets cost $5 at the door. Concessions will be available for free-will donations to help with the production costs for next year’s show.
The play will be held at Wanatah Public School, located at 309 School Drive.
