Ordinances pertaining to the authorization and appropriation of the 2018 General Obligation Bonds will be considered when Knox City Council members meet tonight.
The G.O Bonds are being acquired for the purchase of a fire truck for the Knox-Center Township Fire Department.
Members are also expected to discuss nepotism and contracting certifications. Clerk-Treasurer Jeff Houston will deliver his latest report and there will be time for members to discuss any additional business deemed necessary by the council.
Since Mayor Dennis Estok will be absent from tonight’s meeting, it will be run by City Council President Ron Parker. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in Knox City Hall.
