The Knox Community School Corporation has reason to be hopeful about its future enrollment numbers. Elementary School Principal Glenn Barnes says about 96 children attended the school’s recent kindergarten roundup. He told the school board last week that number’s a little higher than it’s been in past years.
Of those 96, Barnes said 11 of them live out-of-district. He added that typically, two-thirds of the children who enroll actually end up attending classes.
