The Eastern Pulaski School Board has approved transfer student guidelines for the 2018-2019 school year. The school corporation will let students living out-of-district transfer into Eastern Pulaski schools until March 1, 2019, according to Superintendent Dan Foster.
Board members also officially set the capacities for each of the three schools. In the unlikely case that the number of transfer requests exceeds the space available, a lottery system would be used to determine which students are admitted.
State law requires school corporations to revisit these policies each year, if they want to continue accepting out-of-district students.
