Selling a couple surplus vehicles has brought in some extra money for the Town of Francesville. Clerk-Treasurer Linda Bennett says the old police car and tractor both sold for more than their minimum asking price, during an auction earlier this month.
Meanwhile, she says a radar sensor has been ordered for the new police truck, and the police department is looking into buying a couple radios from the Chicago Police Department.
