Good Oil Company Working to Redevelop Downtown Indianapolis Property

A Winamac company is working on a multi-million-dollar hotel and retail development in Downtown Indianapolis. Inside Indiana Business says Good Oil Company plans to invest more than $17 million into the former Emrich’s Furniture site near Interstate 70.

Plans call for a convenience store and gas station, as well as a food and beverage space, to be built within the next six months, according to Prince Alexander Architects. Future phases could involve a hotel and more retail. The architects say there have been numerous attempts to redevelop the property over the past several years.
