The Knox BZA members are also anticipated to discuss the vacant secretary position when they meet tonight at 7 p.m.
Members will also hear an appeal from a Pacific Avenue property owner seeking a variance. Owner of Royal Star Builders, Tim Miller, will be appealing to the BZA to receive a variance on the 40-foot setback specification for a rear yard on a commercial property.
If the variance is approved, Miller will be able to apply for a building permit for the dual-purpose building he plans to construct at 409 W. Pacific Avenue. His site plan already received approval from the Knox Redevelopment Commission, under the condition that he addressed the issue with setback requirement.
Outdoor displays are another matter that will be considered when the BZA members hold their meeting in Knox City Hall this evening.
