Donations to Help Update Restrooms, Offset Cost of Caps and Gowns at Oregon-Davis

Some athletic facilities at Oregon-Davis will get a fresh coat of paint, thanks to some local community members. “We had two ladies from our community that are going to donate paint and their time to paint the two restrooms that are at the track,” says Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.

He says their donation was one of two accepted by the school board last week. “The Oregon-Davis Junior Parent After-Prom Committee held several fundraisers in order to host the 2018 after-prom,” Harman explains. “The organization did an extremely well job in collecting money in excess of what was needed to put on their events. They had excess money, so the group wanted to donate money to the class of 2019, to help pay for caps and gowns for next year.”

Harman says just over $800 in leftover after-prom money will be used to offset the cost of caps and gowns for next year’s graduates.
