The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is bringing its mobile food pantry to Hamlet this month. A “healthy mobile market” will be held Friday, June 15 from 10:00 a.m. to noon CDT at the James R. Hardesty Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Station.
Fresh produce, dry goods, and other foods will be offered free of charge for those in need of food assistance. Food items will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Those who need food are asked to bring their own box or bag.
The Starke County Healthy Mobile Market is sponsored by the Hardesty Memorial Endowment Fund through the Starke County Community Foundation.
