The Pulaski County Commissioners have finalized their bridge inspection agreement with United Consulting. They unanimously approved the contract for the 2018-through-2021 bridge inspection cycle last week.
Company representative Jeff Larrison said the final version includes some adjustments requested by the Indiana Department of Transportation. “They reviewed the contract,” he explained. “They made some suggested revisions to – a couple of them were frequency of inspections. They just wanted to make sure that the fees all matched up.”
The agreement calls for a total cost not to exceed $214,000. Eighty percent of that will be covered by INDOT, with money from the federal government.
Now that the commissioners have approved the agreement with United Consulting, Larrison says the next step will be to approve an agreement with INDOT.
