Winamac Park Board Secretary Kim Burke informed Park Board members about an upcoming Federal Order of Police (F.O.P) event where a donation for the toddler playground will be presented.
Burke explained that the F.O.P Summer Concert is coming up on Saturday, July 21st at the Monticello Golf Course. Since organization representatives want to present their donation to the park board during the event, at least one of the members needs to be in attendance.
Burke said she has a prior engagement and asked if any of the other members would be interested in going. She noted that the event tickets are $20 each. Board member Jon Chapman said he would be willing to go and Park Manager Dave DeLorenzo also expressed an interest in attending.
Burke said that Winamac Police Officer Matt Pickens has been keeping her informed with the details about and said she could provide his contact information.
