The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department is getting a new vehicle. The county commissioners voted Monday to let Sheriff Jeff Richwine buy a Dodge Durango from Braun.
“[Stephen] Tabler has the Humvee that he drives,” Richwine explained. “I think it’s kind of at the end of its life. We have the money. I don’t have to ask for any more money. We’ve already talked to Braun’s about trading that in on a new Durango, and we get that same break on the Durangos that we do on those pickup trucks.”
Meanwhile, Richwine said he plans to talk to Highway Superintendent Terry Ruff about repairing the parking lot west of the Justice Center.
