Francesville Employees to Get 3.5-Percent Pay Raise

Some Francesville town employees will be getting a raise. The town council approved a 3.5-percent salary increase Monday, according to Clerk-Treasurer Linda Bennett. But she says the clerk-treasurer and sewer superintendent aren’t included.

However, Bennett will continue to be paid for up to three months after she leaves office at the end of the year, so she can help train her replacement. The pay for part-time police officers will go up, as well.

Bennett says the pay raises will take effect January 1.
