The Indiana official charged with connecting Hoosiers with the state’s job opportunities will be visiting Knox today. Secretary for Career Connections and Talent Blair Milo will be at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center this afternoon at 1:00.
Milo is expected to discuss the job vacancies that currently exist in Starke County, along with associated wages and educational requirements. She’ll also talk about the various resources available to help improve career connections, and outline what works and what changes should be made to attract talent.
Milo is the state’s first secretary for career connections and talent. Governor Eric Holcomb created the position last year. Before that, Milo served as the mayor of LaPorte.
