The Town of Francesville has been celebrating their “small town with a big heart” for more than 5 decades with the annual Fall Festival.
The event kicks off today at 4:30 p.m. EST with the Firemen’s Fish and Tenderloin Fry which will wrap up around 8 p.m. ‘Chicken Bingo’ will be going on uptown throughout the weekend-long event.
On Saturday, the festival will run from 6:30 a.m. through 8:30 p.m., starting with the Nursery School Pancake Breakfast and wrapping up with the Harvest Dance. WKVI Morning Show Host Charlie Adams and Sportscaster Nathan Welter will be on site doing a live remote from 9 a.m. until 10 am.
A petting zoo, located at the south end of the festival will open up at 9 and run all day. The parade will start at 2 p.m. and will be immediately followed by the Festival Bake Auction.
The fun will continue on Sunday from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. At 8, individuals can start submitting entries for the auto show which will start at noon. At 1 p.m. a corn hole tournament will be held uptown and a garden tractor pull will take place near the railroad.
The Cincinnati Big Circus Show will put on performances on all three days.
In addition to those opportunities, fest-goers can witness some street demonstrations such as chainsaw sculpting and woodworking as well as peruse a plethora of arts and crafts and sample a number of foods.
Carnival Rides and games will be set up in the paved lot, south of the Francesville Auto Park. A variety of musical performances will also take place throughout the weekend, catering to all music tastes.
