The Knox City Council voted to adopt the city’s 2019 budget Tuesday. The total budget adds up to almost $3.1 million, with more than $1.6 million of that being the General Fund.
The Motor Vehicle Highway Fund makes up over $435,000 of next year’s budget, while more than $124,000 has been earmarked for Park & Recreation. The budget adoption resolution was passed with a unanimous vote.
