According to the Indiana Gateway for Governmental Units, a budget hearing is scheduled for tonight’s North Judson Town Council meeting.
The notice on Gateway indicates that the Town has a budget estimate of $1,056,829 for next year. Tonight’s hearing is a chance for any residents or officials to weigh in on the budget proposal before the council considers adopting it in October.
Officials will also continue discussing the proposed splash pad installation at Norwayne Field and consider a special event permit request.
The Clerk-Treasurer, Town Attorney and department heads will share recent updates that need to be brought to the council’s attention and members will consider any other business deemed necessary.
All North Judson Town Council meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in Town Hall, located at 310 Lane Street.
