Knox Elementary School is mourning the loss of one of its students. Nine-year-old Lilyan Coddington passed away last weekend.
Principal Michelle Tarnow told the school board Tuesday that school officials have been trying to do what they can for the staff and students. School officials added that Coddington’s death was unexpected. During her prayer for Tuesday’s meeting, Director of Curriculum and Instruction Peggy Shidaker included a special intention for the Coddington family.
Funeral services are tomorrow evening at 6:00 at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home in North Judson, with visitation there from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
