The Knox School Board will consider the 2019-2020 school calendar tonight.
A proposal posted on the school corporation’s website calls for a first day of school on August 6, 2019, with the last day of class on May 22, unless make-up days need to be used. Students would once again get two weeks off for both Christmas break and spring break, as well as one week for fall break.
Also during tonight’s meeting, board members will discuss an employee pay raise and the Teacher Appreciation Grant. The Knox School Board is also expected to vote on the appointment of Michelle Dolezal as deputy treasurer. She would replace Linda Binkowski, who’s retiring at the end of December. Meanwhile, Ryan Rippy is being recommended for the director of maintenance position.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:30 at the Knox Schools Administrative Office.
