One perk to the sun setting sooner around this time of year is having more time to appreciate all the vibrant decorations. In order to give Knox residents a chance to show off their Christmas spirit, officials are hosting a holiday decorating contest.
If you’d like to have your address added to the list of competing houses you must notify the Mayor’s Office by Monday, December 10th.
The judging will take place from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12th. Residents should be sure to have all their decorations out and lit during that time. The top three winners will receive a cash prize.
The prize for third place will be $25, the second place prize is $50 and the first place winner will receive $100.
