A few upcoming field trips for North Judson-San Pierre students were graciously funded by donations. School board members accepted those funds when they met last Tuesday.
Members accepted a $500 donation from Farm Bureau that will help fund a field trip for fourth graders to visit Fair Oaks Farms. A $300 donation from the Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation was also accepted.
Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin said that grant money will help offset the cost of an incentive trip. On Thursday, December 20th students determined to have good attendance and behavior will take a trip to Valparaiso to visit the Barnes and Noble bookstore and to see Mary Poppins Returns in the theater.
Zupin expressed her gratitude to both organizations for helping students afford these opportunities.
