Around 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, December 30th, the Starke County Dispatch Center alerted emergency officials of an accident near 1740 S on State Road 39.
Dispatch reports that Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Starke County EMS, the North Judson Police Department and the North Judson-Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
According to Fire Department officials, the call relayed that the accident involved possible entrapment involving a child. The patients were removed from the vehicle, which was on its side, as the Department arrived on the scene.
A medical helicopter from Lutheran Air was called to transport the driver. No additional details about the accident have been released at this time but they will be shared as soon as they become available.
