During their final meeting of the year, Knox City Council members received an update over the City’s bonds.
Clerk-Treasurer Jeff Houston told the council that the process for the community center bond has been finalized.
Houston noted, “We recently paid off the 2012 bond on the community center. We have the new bond that’s out now, the 2017, that’s the only one we’re paying on now.”
As a reminder, the remaining general obligation bond was taken out to assist with the purchase of a fire truck for the Knox-Center Township Volunteer Fire Department.
