The Town of Hamlet will apparently continue to be represented on the Starke County Economic Development Foundation Board of Directors.
Town officials hadn’t gotten a request from the foundation for a representative at the time the town council made the rest of its yearly appointments on January 9. Clerk-Treasurer Kristina Pitts believed that was because the town was no longer one of the foundation’s members.
But the town has since gotten a request, and Council Member Brian Earnest was reappointed to the Starke County Economic Development Foundation Board of Directors during this week’s meeting. Additionally, the foundation’s special projects coordinator, Ron Gifford, gave his regular update to council members.
