Pulaski County stands to save a significant amount of money on insurance costs. When the county commissioners approved the renewal of various policies last week, Gene Timm with Novotny Insurance said costs have gone down by almost $35,000.
“I was ecstatic,” he said. “But it’s some of the things that you guys have been doing is why these came down, some of the training sessions and things of that nature.”
Timm said workers comp went up by about a couple thousand dollars, but said that cost might decrease next year.
