Multiple guns, different types of drugs and paraphernalia were reportedly discovered after a search warrant was executed at a Grovertown residence Thursday evening.
According to a press release from the Starke County Sheriff’s office, Starke County SWAT, Marshall County Sheriff’s
Chester King, of Grovertown, David P. Howard, of Knox, and Aimee Swanson, of Koontz Lake were allegedly located at the house.
The press release states that there were security cameras surrounding the residence. A number of items were discovered while officers searched the premises including Custom Rifles like a complete AR-10 rifle, SKS semi-automatic Rifle, a 22 Rifle, 16 g Shotgun, 9 mm semi-automatic rifle and a 38 caliber pistol.
Authorities report that several controlled substance pills, four grams of marijuana, .75 grams of heroin, with a value of $150 and 19.25 grams of Methamphetamine, with a street value of $1,900, were also discovered during the search.
Police also found 2 pellet pistols and one pellet rifle. In order to show how realistic they looked, police included them alongside the actual weapons in a photograph as a means of comparison. That picture appears above.
All three individuals were preliminarily charged with possession of a narcotic drug, possession of paraphernalia and dealing and possession of methamphetamine over 10 grams.
King is described as a habitual offender in the report. He was also booked for charges of possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon and maintaining a common nuisance.
Howard and Swanson both face preliminary charges of visiting a common nuisance. Swanson is reportedly looking at additional charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
