The travel status in Pulaski and Starke Counties has been raised to an orange level Travel Watch. As of 9:30 p.m. ET, Marshall County was still at a yellow level Travel Advisory.
Forecasts are calling for lots of wind and drifting snow. Motorists are reminded that a Watch status means that conditions have been determined to be threatening to the safety of the public. Only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended.
According to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations.
If any official changes are made, they will be reflected on the IDHS County Travel Status page.
