Students at Culver Community Middle/High School are using their technological skills to preserve the history of the school and local area.
“Our seventh grade students came and presented to the school board on how they made QR codes and are going to give them to the local museum,” Superintendent Karen Shuman explains. “It showcased many of our teachers, our renovations, and also showcased past inhabitants of the area, and so the kids learned both historical things and how to put those into the Historical Museum using QR codes.”
The update came during last week’s regular school board meeting.
