Pulaski County officials have finalized a speed limit reduction for Tpac Road, also known as County Road 150 South. The county council agreed Monday to lower the speed limit from 55 to 35 miles per hour.
The county commissioners expressed their support for the idea last month, but both groups had to approve it before it could take effect. During Monday’s joint session, Commissioner Jerry Locke explained that a local resident asked for the lower speed limit, and Highway Superintendent Terry Ruff said that he’d be fine with the change.
