Progress that’s been made on the property located at 207-209 N. Roosevelt Road in Knox was discussed during Wednesday morning’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.
Director of Building and Code Compliance Kenny Pfost told members he’s been in contact with the property owner Gary Reedy and a schedule of repairs has been made. He said the schedule was compiled with board recommendations that were made in January.
Pfost said that work is already being done at the property, noting that flooring has been torn up, the bathrooms have been gutted, the water heater has been taken out, some of the interior doors have been removed and new windows were ordered.
Reedy was given a deadline of July 24th. Pfost added that he felt six months was a sufficient amount of time to complete everything listed on the schedule.
