Oregon-Davis is seeing success with its band program. Band Teacher Kendra Ohime gave an update during Monday’s school board meeting, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.
“We have 26 students in our fifth grade band, and we have a total of 11 in our sixth grade band,” Harman says. “We do have 16 students in our junior high band. . . . We’ve also been very successful this past year with our solo/ensemble.” Harman says school officials are very excited with the direction the band program is going.
