For the third time in less than a year, the Knox Community School Corporation has a new treasurer and business manager.
The school board hired Kasey Clark for the position Tuesday. She had been serving as the elected Starke County treasurer.
Clark replaces Rose Workman, who served as the school corporation’s treasurer for just over three weeks, before stepping down last month. Workman’s resignation was officially accepted by the school board Tuesday. Clark thanked the board members for hiring her and said she looked forward to doing a good job.
The treasurer’s position isn’t the only one to experience some turnover in recent months. Former Director of Maintenance Ryan Rippy served in the position for less than two months, before he resigned and was replaced by Joe Mareska. The Knox Community School Corporation has also had a transportation director, treasurer, and deputy treasurer retire in the past year.
